Monthly rebates processing once took two finance resources; now requires only one

Thermo Fisher Scientific's Nalgene Nunc division needed an easy way to create contracts and process rebates from its distributors. Each constituent in sales, product management, marketing and finance had a set of requirements and business rules that needed to work seamlessly.

Catalyst developed a website utilizing ASP.NET and SQL Server technology that was roles-driven, meeting the business needs of each user group. The solution connected to the SAP on the back end for updates to the product and pricing information and for rebates processing. After our system went into production, the time for processing rebates decreased over 50%.
