As Catalyst’s director of experience design, Tara develops engaging and effective experiences for our clients’ customers. She leads research initiatives that uncover new insights, then translates those insights into optimized customer experiences. She has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 clients, including American Express, Honeywell, Kaspersky Lab, Paychex, Sears, Anthropologie, Carpet One, Reebok, Verizon, and Campbell’s Soup, among others.
Tara creates personas, journey maps and touch point analyses that help clients understand their customers in new ways. She identifies gaps in the customer experience that lead to new opportunities and more engaged customers.
Tara designs information architecture, workflow diagrams, user experience requirement documentation, content strategy, and heuristic evaluations to analyze, define and solve customer experience issues. She conducts usability studies to validate and measure a solution’s effectiveness.
Tara is an experienced UX designer with an MA in visual arts and a BS in psychology. She develops detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes and complete visual designs to define and detail customer-focused creative solutions. She has designed all things digital, from responsive websites to enterprise-level applications.
In her free time, Tara illustrates books and recharges her creative batteries by reading poetry and chasing after her two young children, Vivien and Arthur.
